Hoya UV Standard


Ultra Violet rays can often make outdoor photographs indistinct and hazy. The Hoya UV filter absorbs the ultra violet rays, making it ideal for both fine weather photographs as well as for black and white films, while serving as a permanent lens protector.

They also enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer with better contrast. This effect is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. HOYA's polarising filters do not affect the overall color balance of a shot.
