Hoya's Range of PRO 1 Digital UV Filters are only 2mm in thickness. The Pro 1 D UV filter is an excellent quality all round filter suited to hobbyist and professional photographers alike.

Ultra Violet rays can often make outdoor photographs indistinct and hazy. The Hoya Pro 1D Ultraviolet UV filter absorbs the ultra violet rays, making it ideal for both fine weather photographs as well as for black and white films, while serving as a permanent lens protector. Digital camera CCD or CMOS sensors are highly susceptible to reflections. Multi-Coated filters offer substantially reduced reflections resulting in a clearer image with greater contrast.

These filters greatly reduce the appearance of lens flare and ghosting caused by reflections.

Black Almite Frame
Filters feature a black matte aluminum satin finish almite frame which reduces reflections.

Black Rimmed Glass
These filters are equipped with black rimmed glass to reduce the chance of light reflecting off the edge.

Low Profile Frame
Ultra thin filter frames to help avoid vignetting on super wide angle lenses are also designed to hold a lens cap.
